FA/CPR AED Instructor Class

Total cost: $230.00

Students must attend 16 hours of classroom time and also complete 3 hours of pre-requisite training online.

Note:
Age and First Aid, CPR and AED certifications will be verified during your first classroom session.

Certification Requirement
To be certified as an instructor, you must:

• Successfully complete the prerequisite requirement.
• Attend and actively participate in all course sessions.
• Successfully complete class activities including two practice-teaching assignments.
• Score at least 80 percent (20 correct answers out of 25 questions) on the instructor written exam.
• Complete the online Course Record Administration training in the American Red Cross Learning Center (recommended).
• Contact your local American Red Cross chapter if you have questions.
