Challenges
This class gives students the opportunity to re-certify without taking a full class. Price and length of class depends on the certificate that the student requests.
Adult/Infant/Child CPR and First Aid
This is a 9-hour course in which participants learn how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, shock and sudden illnesses. In the First Aid portion of the class, attendees learn to care for bruises, burns, bleeding and injuries to bones, joints, and muscles.
Adult CPR
This is a 4-hour course that teaches how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults. In addition, the prevention of heart disease and the use of the EMS system is also taught.
Adult CPR and First Aid
This is a 6.5-hour course in which participants learn how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, shock, and sudden illnesses. In the First Aid portion of the class, attendees learn to care for bruises, burns, bleeding and injuries to bones, joints, and muscles.
Adult CPR/AED and First Aid
This is a 7-hour course in which participants learn how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, shock and sudden illnesses. In the First Aid portion of the class, attendees learn to care for bruises, burns, bleeding and injuries to bones, joints, and muscles. Students also learn how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in the event of a cardiac arrest.
Adult CPR/First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogens
This is a 7-hour course in which participants learn how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, shock and sudden illnesses. In the First Aid portion of the class, attendees learn to care for bruises, burns, bleeding and injuries to bones, joints, and muscles. Students also learn the importance od following a blood borne pathogen plan.
Infant/Child Safety Training
This is a 6.5-hour course which is ideal for anyone 16 years or older who would like an introduction or refresher on childcare and safety. This course is great for parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and anyone else who wants to learn how to childproof their home, review basic child care skills such as diapering/feeding/safe play, as well as lifesaving skills. Participants will learn first aid, how to respond to choking or breathing emergencies and how to perform CPR. Participants will earn an American Red Cross Infant/Child CPR certification. Also, participants will receive a 128 page book and DVD which offers information that can be accessed at any time.
CPR for the Professional Rescuer
This is a 9-hour course developed with the professional rescuer in mind and instructs those who are attending the skills required to respond appropriately to respiratory and cardiac emergencies, specifically addressing the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) in the event of a cardiac arrest.
CPR For the Professional Rescuer Review/Challenge
This is offered to quickly refresh skills and prepare for the immediate demonstration of skills and written exam to test for knowledge.
