Comfort Kits are distributed, free of charge, to people displaced by disaster. This small gesture of caring means a great deal to disaster victims. Often these individuals are left with nothing but the clothes they were wearing at the time the disaster struck.

 

Thanks to you, the Red Cross is there to help.

  

How can you help?

You can donate supplies from the list below to complete several comfort kits. Please collect only new products packaged in their orginal wrapping in the sizes specified, and sort them by type before dropping them off at the Chapter.
Red Cross Volunteers will then assemble the gift bags for distribution to individuals affected by disasters in our community.
The Chapter can also supply the official American Red Cross bags so that your group can assemble comfort kits at your location.

Each comfort kit contains basic personal hygiene supplies including:


Adult Comfort Kit Bags


Youth Comfort Kit Bags


1 – Razor
1- 2 oz. Shave Gel
1-Toothbrush with Cap
1-.85 oz. Fluoride Toothpaste
1-3.5 oz. Soap Bar
1-8 oz. Shampoo
1-2 oz. Bottle of Lotion
1- 1.5 Deodorant
1- Pack of Pocket Tissues
1- Washcloth
1-8 inch Comb


1- 3.5 oz Soap Bar
1-2 oz Shampoo
1- Youth Toothbrush
1-.85 oz. Fluoride Toothpaste
1-Washcloth
1-5 inch Comb
1-Small Pack of Crayons
1-Activity/Coloring Book



As per corporate regulations, please do not place any items, other than what is listed, in the bag.
